Portfolio of Works

"En Plein Air" means to paint in "open air". As the French Impressionists long started the tradition of painting in the great outdoors, Alison paints from life. Loose brushwork, true light.

These paintings are my tropical scenes of the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. It’s a warm place full of color and fabulous painting locations. As well as my new home! Many of these pieces are created in Palmas Del Mar and en plein air/open air.

Studio works make up a small percentage of Alison's art collection. These paintings are created more often on canvas and reference her smaller plein air studies.
